It’s the first time the couple have been alone together since Caitlyn Jenner’s transition.
And although Kris Jenner seemed to be cool at the beginning of the clip that EOnline posted from Sunday night’s edition of E!’s I Am Cait, things seemed to improve as they chatted.
The pair posed for a selfie and Caitlyn caught her ex-wife by surprise when she kissed her on the cheek just as Kris clicked the shutter.
The 59-year-old opened her eyes wide in mock shock as Cait, 65, reached over to wipe off her lipstick mark.
They met to discuss how to make things less awkward between them since Kris’s ex Bruce transitioned Caitlyn this summer.
And they decided to put their differences aside for the sake of their children.
‘Are we going to start hanging out together?’ Cait asked during the 103-second clip.
‘Sure, you can come over for a drink,’ Kris responded. But she drew the line at shopping together, saying: ‘Let’s not get carried away.’
Looking a little sombre, Kris continued: ‘I just want to get to a place where it’s comfortable for us to share celebrations together.’
And the former Olympian kept mum when Kris asked: ‘is it true you’re dating this girl called Candace?’
In an aside to the camera later, Caitlin shared: ‘I don’t really agree with everything she said, but communication is always good.
‘Maybe it will be a little different in the future now. I hope it is because I want to keep my relationship with all my kids.’
The couple, who married in 1991, split in October 2013 after Caitlin revealed her true sexual orientation. Their divorce was finalised in March.
They share daughters Kendall, 19, and Kylie, 18. Cait is also close to Kris’s children with first husband Robert Kardashian – Kim, 34, Kourtney, 36, Khloe, 31, and Rob, 28,
The season finale of I Am Cait was due to air at 8 p.m. on E!
